His classroom is alive with plants and animals. Visiting his room, one finds a collection of snakes, turtles, fish, and various small critters. Teaching from nature is one of his strengths and students are impressed with the lessons brought to them from his collection. Various methods are used to help students learn, which includes but not limited too: labs, field trips, demonstrations, and visual instruction with supportive documents. As a Seventh-day Adventist, he lives a life to help his students to see Christ and uses the Bible actively in his religion classes.
