Benefits of Learning at Redding Adventist Academy
Attention Your Child Deserves
The 9-to-1 (teacher and teacher aide to student) ratio ensures that all students receive the individual attention they need for success. Our students regularly demonstrate 1.3 to 1.5 years of academic progress in core subjects over the course of each school year, as shown by scores on the annual Iowa Assessment.
Hands-On Learning Experiences
Small class sizes provide flexibility for RAA to offer unique learning opportunities that are not available to larger schools. Some recent experiences have included a mission trip to Guatemala and a history and art tour in London. Our Lego robotics team is award-winning and our athletics are highly inclusive.
Daily Spiritual Development
Students at RAA receive positive spiritual input on a daily basis. Bible study occurs every school day and instructors reinforce Christian values throughout academic lessons. Spiritual growth is also supported through student participation in community service projects and the annual student-led Spiritual Emphasis Week.
Feels Like a Family
Our principal knows the name of each student. Our instructors are personally invested in the success of each child. Our parents provide a supportive network and our students encourage their peers. Friendships that last a lifetime are built at RAA.
"RAA is more than a school; it's a family. For 13 years, I was surrounded by teachers who had my best interest in mind, both academically and spiritually. Today I consider those teachers as mentors and friends, as they have continued to show me love and support even after graduation."
